The Saint Luigi Guanella Legacy Society is a group of dedicated individuals and families that have invested in the future of The Communities of Don Guanella and Divine Providence by making a planned gift to our wonderful organization.
Joining is easy – you simply need to name The Communities of Don Guanella and Divine Providence as a beneficiary in your will, trust, insurance policy, real estate, donor-advised fund, retirement plan, or other asset. Your gift can be anonymous, or with your permission, we would love to publicly acknowledge your commitment.
Here are some of the individual testimonials from those generous supporters who have joined this Mission critical and Life Affirming Society.
My brother, Robbie, was our family’s very own superhero. Robbie was a special gift to our family. He had a wonderfully full life and did the best he could with the gifts God gave him. He taught us to see the world through the eyes of possibility and to find tolerance and compassion in that world. We were able to witness his growth and development during the 51 years he spent as a resident of Don Guanella before he passed away five years ago. My husband, Steve, and I continue to stay involved with the Don Guanella Community. Wanting to help make a difference, we happily made a donation to the Don Guanella/Divine Providence Endowment Fund, confident that our gift will continue to positively impact the lives of current and future residents.

I am a retired blue collar worker so I’m not wealthy. I recently revised my will and have included DGV for some money. Probably enough to pay some bills or someone’s salary for a period of time. I am eternally grateful to DGV for the exemplary care that was given to Jerry. I miss Jerry very much. More than most would realize.
Art Richardson, about his brother Jerry
I have made arrangements through the Executor of my will for funds to be made available to Divine Providence. They are providing loving dedicated and truly heroic service to our loved ones. Words do not convey the debt of gratitude owed to all staff and Administration!

I have also adjusted estate planning to have funds made available to Divine Providence Village as a legacy tribute to both my sister and the Sisters of Divine Providence for their tremendous work over the years.
Steve Marcoe, brother of Lisa Marcoe – former resident of DPV
I am very happy to support Don Guanella through a Planned Gift. I wish I could do more. My son (Ian) has grown leaps and bounds after transitioning from our home in Norristown to the Don Guanella Community. Our family has always had a deep devotion to our Catholic faith. Knowing that Ian regularly attends Mass, prays the rosary, and is around such loving and caring staff has been such a wonderful gift for us.
