Volunteers were celebrated by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia on April 20th at a presentation at the Archdiocesan Center.
Divine Providence Village (DPV) volunteer Lauren Pippitt was honored. She is an eighth grade student from St. Anastasia Parish in Newtown Square.
Her mother Kelly brings Lauren every other week to escort the DPV residents to Mass. They stay for Mass and then walk the individuals back to their residences.
Sr. Mary Veasy, SSJ is a full-time Pastoral Associate at DPV and works with our volunteers. Thank you Kelly and Lauren for your loving kindness to your friends at DPV!
