The Communities of Don Guanella and Divine Providence provide a wide variety of services to men and women living with intellectual disabilities throughout a broad continuum of care. As one of the largest providers in the State of Pennsylvania, we are able to offer accommodation to any need. What follows is a quick overview of the services we provide. Life Sharing (61 individuals served)

  • Individuals live with “adoptive” families
  • Focus on independence and building life skills
  • Least restrictive supported living environment

Day Programs (250 individuals served)

  • Onsite vocational opportunities and job training
  • Focus on life and academic skills, critical thinking, and social skills
  • Aging program offering personal care, nursing support, social services, and therapeutic activities
  • Community employment opportunities and support

In-Home Support (21 individuals served) 

  • Assistance with travel
  • Financial management, community access, recreation and socialization
  • Assistance with maintaining medical appointments

Respite Care (variable as requested)

  • Allows family members personal time to tend to personal, family, and professional needs.
